Our first look at this Blu-ray Disc edition was quite favorable, with the very-good to excellent 35mm source material shining in this high-definition video transfer. La Cinémathèque française purchased the 35mm negative held by Albatros in 1964, and duplicated 35mm preservation materials.

The film is accompanied by a music score by Timothy Brock, performed by Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna.

The edition is accompanied by a 12-page booklet with an essay by Richard Abel.

We enthusiastically recommend this Blu-ray Disc edition.
