This new edition of the surviving films of Winsor McCay contains all of the films included in the Lumivision-produced editions listed below, and adds audio commentary by animation expert and McCay biographer John Canemaker. Also included in this edition is the Canemaker documentary, Remembering Winsor McCay, and stills from Canemaker’s personal collection.

We expect this new edition to be freshly mastered from the same prints, held by La Cinémathèque Québécoise film archive, that were utilized for the Lumivision edition. Another expectation is of new musical scores to accompany the films.
