This DVD boxset collection of F.W. Murnau’s major works (minus Sunrise) is available in this boxset from Kino International (which includes Milestone’s edition of Tabu). All are fine films, worth owning in these discs that represent the best-available editions of the films in Region 1 DVD. Picture quality on each is the best that we have seen of these films on home video.

For our review of this edition of Nosferatu (1922) see Nosferatu on home video; for our review of this edition of The Last Laugh (1924) see The Last Laugh on home video; for our review of this edition of Tartuffe (1925) see Tartuffe on home video; for our review of this edition of Faust (1926) see Faust on home video; for our review of this edition of Tabu (1931) see Tabu on home video.

While we highly recommended this F.W. Murnau boxset for its high quality and value at the time of its release, higher-quality Blu-ray Disc editions have since been released.
