Previously presumed lost, a complete print of the 1922 film was recovered and identified in Greenport, Long Island, New York, in an old box of donations by Dan Martin, an assistant to Joe Lauri of Historic Films Stock Footage Archive in February 2025. A viewing of the 1922 film does seem to support the conclusion that it was an entirely new production.
