This DVD-R edition has been mastered from a very-good archival 35mm release print that is a bit soft (softer than the intentional soft Garbo gauze shots). Some dust, speckling and very minor print damage remains in the natural-speed video scan.

The film is presented with an orchestral music score by an unidentified composer.

We finally have a home video improvement over the 1992 MGM laserdisc edition and we now can recommend this DVD edition.
