Our first look at this out-of-print edition shows that it has been transferred in a windowboxed format from an excellent 35mm print held by the George Eastman Museum. The disc has been mastered from an analog videotape transfer prepared for the 1993 Lumivision laserdisc edition. In the late 1990s, SlingShot purchased the Lumivision home video masters and released a small number of Lumivision editions on DVD.

The film is accompanied by a synthesizer music score that is serviceable but not very pleasing.

Not really our choice for a recommended edition of The Last of the Mohicans (1920), but it is the only currently available edition on DVD.

The film is likely accompanied by a soundtrack compiled from preexisting recordings.
