This collection has been mastered from 16mm reduction prints of varying quality from good to very-good. The older video transfer often lose picture detail to contrastiness, with burnt-out highlights resulting in lost facial details to closed-up shadows.
The films are accompanied by compiled music scores from preexisting recordings.
This collection has been surpassed by the All Day Entertainment 2009 collection Becoming Charley Chase (1915-1926), which contains all of these films in better video transfers and with custom music scores.
