Donald Sosin

Donald Sosin has been captivating audiences in the USA and Europe with his silent film music for over thirty years. He was the resident film accompanist at MoMA in the late 1970s, and for many years has performed at the BAM Rose Cinema, the American Museum of the Moving Image (AMMI), and the Lincoln Center Film Society. He has composed music for screenings at AMMI and at the Guggenheim Museum. At the Whitney Museum he premiered his score for Salome as part of the “Unseen Cinema” series. He performs each October at Le Giornate del Cinema Muto (the Pordenone Film Festival) in Sacile, Italy.
