Sister of Elizabeth Jane Young (later, actress Sally Blane); sister of actress Loretta Young.
Half-sister of actress Georgiana Young.
Married Carter Hermann, 1935; daughter, Elizabeth Jane Hermann (later, actress Betty Jane Royale), born 12 October 1946; three other children; until Carter’s death, [?] 197?

Polly Ann Young appeared in her first film as a child extra in Sirens of the Sea (1917). More active in the 1930s than in the silent era, Young retired from motion picture work in 1941.
