Cinematography by Karl Püth. / Released January 1929. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The film was advertised in United States industry trades as a sound film in mid-April 1929. Dialogue sequences for the final three reels were reshot in May 1929 at the “new” RCA studios in New York, New York, to be added to the film for rerelease. The film was released in the United States by Sono Art-World Wide Pictures through Educational Film Exchanges, Incorporated, in June 1929; the film was released in a silent version, in a sound version with a Photophone soundtrack, and in a sound version with Vitaphone-compatible gramophone discs. The film was rereleased in the United Kingdom with its sound-film sequences in Photophone 35mm spherical 1.20:1 format and utilizing RCA Photophone sound-on-film synchronized sound system in December 1929. / Silent film.
