Fert Film production. / Scenario by Gennaro Righelli, from a screen story by Adriano Piacitelli and Maria Jacobini. Cinematography by Tullio Chiarini. / Released 2 June 1922. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The first film shot in Sardinia. The film was released in Japan on 25 April 1923. A positive film print with Czechoslovakian intertitles was found in Prague in 1992. The film was restored by Cineteca di Bologna. The restoration premiered at the Teatro della Fortuno in Fano, Italy, on 15 October 2001, with original music by Mario Mariani.
